The popularity of telemedicine visits has grown exponentially since COVID-19. Patients can have face-to-face visits on a secure Zoom line or phone consultations. For those patients who prefer an in-person visit with me, I will be working two Thursdays per month (usually 2nd and 4th Thursdays). Cost for visits is the same, whether telemedicine or face-to-face.
I am renting space at Healthy Ever After in Downtown Rochester. This practice is owned by a physician who also practices limited Functional Medicine/Integrative Medicine and specializes in Aesthetics. Unlike many downtown Rochester businesses, parking at this location is plentiful and free (no metered parking)!

$450 INITIAL CONSULTATION | 60 minutes
The first visit includes a thorough assessment of family history, past medical history, current medical problems, risk factors for preventable diseases, nutritional history, toxic substance exposure history, and history of current symptoms. A complete timeline with events from birth to the present is done, as the belief is a patient is a product of all events that came before the day they presented in the office. Based on all of this information, testing is ordered and often includes extensive blood testing as well as specialized lab testing which looks at gut function, detoxification profiles, heavy metal exposure and vitamin/mineral deficiencies in the body.
$450 | 60 minutes
The first follow-up appointment is approximately six to eight weeks after the initial visit at which time a detailed review of labs and specialized testing takes place and an individualized treatment plan is formulated which typically includes hormone support, lifestyle modification and vitamin/herbal supplementation.
$225 | 30 minutes
Targeted lab tests may be repeated to evaluate the effectiveness of the therapy. Depending on how well a patient responds to therapy, subsequent visits can be anywhere from 3 to 6 months apart.
Testosterone pellet therapy for both men and women is the newest addition to my bio-identical hormone replacement therapy arsenal. Testosterone hormone pellets are surgically implanted underneath the skin in a simple 15-minute procedure. The pellets are tiny cylinders (like rice kernels) that are inserted into a numbed area, typically in the flank region. This method of delivering testosterone most closely mimics the human body's own natural release of hormones. Dosing is determined by the practitioner based on lab values, medical history, and reported symptoms. Often, when testosterone pellets are used, especially in women, there is little to no need for estrogen. Additionally, testosterone coupled with an estrogen blocker is the only hormone considered safe to use in a female breast cancer survivor. You can be seen for testosterone pellet therapy without becoming a Functional Medicine patient.
$150 | 30 minutes
This visit is a short assessment of past medical history, current medications/supplements, and possible risk factors for pellet insertion. A baseline set of labs are ordered at this visit and after they come back and are reviewed by the clinician, pellets can be inserted. However, if a patient has recent labs that they can produce for this appointment, those labs can be reviewed and pellets can be inserted at this same appointment.
$300 | 30 minutes
An informed consent is signed, and pellets are inserted. Lab orders are given to the patient post-pellet insertion to have done at the 4-week mark, to assess efficacy of treatment and to follow potential conversion patterns. Pellets are typically inserted for women every 3 months, but this is variable and personalized.
$450 | 30 minutes
An informed consent is signed, and pellets are inserted. Because testosterone is a man’s primary hormone, more pellets are required, hence the difference in pricing. Lab orders are given to the patient post-pellet insertion to have done at the 4-week mark, to assess efficacy of treatment and to follow potential conversion patterns. Pellets are typically inserted for men every 4-6 months, but this is variable and personalized.
